Ways to avoid job search scams?

It is not easy to say which is a scam? Let us try to understand it

It will be a good idea to get familiarized with the most used scams. Usually, scammers use descriptions like wire transfer, envelope, data entry, multi-level marketing, etc. While searching for a job, please ensure that you use the right keywords. Never try the keyword work from home, this is the most dangerous keyword related to a job scam. It will be mostly present with the word free. We suggest using keywords like remote work, telework, etc. If you see !!!!! or $$$$$ along with keywords, then better to stay away as these will be scams. Never fall prey to email hacks, protect your computer and email accounts. Never respond to unknown senders or respond to emails such as amazing work from home opportunities. Better to do a detailed review of a new job position before you apply for it. See if the job offer is asking for upfront payment? Does it ask for your personal details? Is the employer listed in the job posting is genuine, better to do a Wikipedia search about the employer? Analyze the employer website, contact information, email and phone number. See if the job description seems unclear? Is there any interview or the employer is offering a job without an Interview? These self-check tips can save you from falling prey with job scammers. If you ever feel that a job posting is a scam, then try to check about its authenticity and if found a job scam, please share with other job seekers through social media like Facebook, Twitter, so that no one will fall prey to these scammers.
